2009 Santa Claus Christmas Celebration

November 20 through December 20, 2009

Visit Santa Claus, Indiana: America’s Christmas Hometown, for five weekends of family fun during the new Santa Claus Christmas Celebration. Each weekend from November 20 – December 20, 2009, experience a traditional Christmas with Santa Claus’s Pre-Christmas Dinner followed by carols and the lighting of America’s Hometown Christmas Tree. Drive through Lake Rudolph’s 1.2-mile “Santa Claus Land of Lights” to learn the magical story of Rudolph plus watch “Santa’s Great Big LED Tree of Lights” come to life hourly. Browse through the huge new Santa Claus Christmas Store, holiday Arts & Crafts Show, and other themed shops. Roast chestnuts on an open fire at Santa’s Candy Castle, which also hosts weekend Christmas Wood Carving Demonstrations. Watch or participate in family-friendly contests such as Gingerbread House Building and Fruitcake Eating. Special discount packages are available at Santa Claus-area lodging. The Santa Claus Christmas Celebration will create family memories to cherish for a lifetime.
